Blue Light Whitening Kit

I’m the one who wrote what you just read. This is the pen. I’m not going to tell you it changed my life. It gave me back the face in the picture on my dresser, a few shades at a time, and it left my crown alone. That’s all I wanted. Here’s exactly what it does and what it doesn’t. Then you decide.

What it does and what it doesn’t

What it does

  • Brightens natural teeth, usually a few shades. Not white. Yours.
  • Goes only where you brush it. Most people do the 6 in front, the ones that show.
  • Uses the same two actives as whitening strips: hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide.

What it doesn’t

  • Won’t change crowns, implants, veneers or fillings. If your front teeth are mostly dental work, this isn’t for you.
  • Results are gradual. In Joan’s story, nothing changed in week 1. She noticed a change in week 2.
  • Won’t make you white. If that’s what you want, you’ll be disappointed.
  • Won’t suit everyone’s teeth. Some people get sensitivity with any peroxide product. If yours do, stop.

Joan’s two weeks

No dramatic reveal. Just the little moments I wrote down.

  1. Painted it on the 6 in front. Nothing.
  2. Still nothing. Did it anyway.
  3. Caught my face from the side putting earrings in. Stopped.
  4. Crown on the left is the same. They said it would be.
  5. Laughed at something on the phone. Hand stayed in my lap.

Questions people actually ask

Will it make my teeth sensitive?

It might. Any peroxide product can. Some people feel a zing with cold drinks. If it bothers you, skip a day or stop.

I have crowns and implants. Will they match?

No. Crowns, implants, veneers and fillings don’t change color with any whitening product. If your front teeth are mostly dental work, this won’t give you what you want, and we’d rather tell you now.

How long before I see anything?

Not the first few days in Joan’s experience. She noticed a modest change in week 2. Your result may be different.

Will it make me white?

No. It brightens your own teeth. If you want very white, this isn’t the product.

Do I have to do my whole mouth?

No. Most people do the 6 in front, the ones that show when you smile. The brush goes where you put it.

I’ve tried strips and got nothing. Why would this be different?

Same two actives as strips. The difference is placement. It stays where you brush it, so you can concentrate it on the teeth you actually see. Results vary from person to person.
